The \u201cOcean Decade Challenge 10\u201d focuses on building an ocean-literate society where marine ecosystems are understood, valued, and protected (IOC\/UNESCO, 2024).<\/p><p>Latin America, with its vast 240,000 km of coastline, depends heavily on the ocean\u201427% of its population relies directly or indirectly on marine resources. Sustainable fisheries, renewable energy, and ecotourism have boosted employment, improved sanitation, and strengthened resilience while tackling poverty and pollution.<\/p><p>Chile and Colombia are positioning themselves as key players in the blue economy. Chile, with thousands of kilometers of Pacific coastline, and Colombia, strategically located between the Pacific and the Caribbean, are making strides to enhance their international role in this field.<br \/>But for a truly sustainable future, education and industry must align.<\/p><p>That\u2019s why we\u2019re building collaboration between vocational training institutions in Colombia, Chile, Spain, and Germany-linking expertise in green and blue economy sectors with real-world industry needs.<\/p><p>The result?
