Areas of action

We’re working on a Green Skills Assessment to help VET providers understand where their teachers and staff stand when it comes to sustainability in the blue economy. This tool will look at practical skills, knowledge of sustainable development, awareness of climate change impacts, and how well they can apply climate-friendly practices in their work.

At the same time, we’re mapping what’s already being taught—both in and outside the classroom—when it comes to green skills for the blue economy. This will help us spot gaps and opportunities to make sustainability a stronger part of vocational training.

The assessment is still in development, but we’ll share updates as we move forward!
